1. Academic Tutoring Structure

ADSIE provides structured academic tutoring rooted in differentiated scaffolding. This means learners receive support that is tailored to their current ability level while being gradually guided toward independence and mastery. Sessions are intentional, goal-driven, and designed to build confidence, skill, and resilience over time.

Tutoring sessions are conducted virtually, each lasting 60 minutes, and include:

• A learner check-in and reflection
• Clear lesson objectives
• Guided instruction and modelling
• Differentiated practice and application
• Progressive reduction of support as competence grows

Instructor feedback is shared after lessons to ensure continuity of learning beyond the session.

2. Registration & Evaluation

Registration / Evaluation Fee: R950 (once-off)

This fee covers a comprehensive academic evaluation conducted by our academic team and educational counsellors. The evaluation includes:

• Review of the learner's most recent school report
• A comprehension assessment and check up
• Parent and instructor interviews

This process allows us to design a focused and effective academic support plan.

3. Lesson Fees & Duration

• Lesson Fee: R250 per hour, per subject - Fees will increase in April to R270
• Lessons are charged per hour, per subject
• Parents must indicate their preferred tutoring duration: 3 months | 6 months | 9 months | 12 months

4. Discounts

• A 10% sibling/group discount applies only when two or more learners are registered simultaneously under the same account.
• A 50% of registration fee discount applies when full amounts are paid in advance, e.g. R450 for 2026

5. Attendance, Punctuality & Cancellations

• There are no refunds for missed tutorials.
• Sessions are not extended for late arrival.
• Cancellation of classes must be done 48hrs before the lesson to consider postponing.
• Missed lessons are not automatically recovered; parents should consult the Academic Coach regarding possible transitions or adjustments.
• Parents are responsible for ensuring learners are seated, prepared, and in a distraction-free environment at the scheduled lesson time.

6. Required Documents for Registration

To complete registration, the following documents must be submitted:

• Most recent school report
• Latest assessment or test results (if available)
• Copy of learner's birth certificate or ID
• Copy of parent/guardian ID
• Proof of payment for the registration/evaluation fee and month's fee
• Any relevant educational or support reports (optional)

7. Payment Information
